Jenniffer Figaroa at Connect 2019 Real Estate Conference in New York

Jenniffer Figaroa Guzman is a senior agent at Best Buy Realty Aruba. She had just recently won an award for Outstanding Sales Production in 2018, and her next step was to attend the Inman Connect 2019 Real Estate Conference in New York. As it would turn out, she was the only one attending from the entire Caribbean region!

Inman Connect 2019 was a week-long event bringing together more than 4,000 of real estate’s most successful and innovative professionals. CEOs of leading franchises and indie brokerages, top-producing agents and brokers, MLS and association leaders, tech entrepreneurs and marketing execs, all came together to network, make deals, explore current trends, discover new technology and embrace the change that surrounds our industry.
The theme was: “Embrace. Focus. Execute.” The program was curated to help one navigate a turning market and reach new heights in 2019.
One could gain actionable insights, breakthrough strategies and inspiration from top-tier speakers, including:

• • Ryan Serhant, Star of Million Dollar Listing New York
  • Robert Reffkin, Co-founder & CEO at Compass
  • Denee Evans, CEO at Council of Multiple Listing Services
  • and many more.

Jennifer was very excited to go attend this event and once she had returned she was also excited to share many of the interesting things she learned at the event with our team, some of which are things that are rarely or never done, but can be applied here in Aruba,
for example:
Pre-staging: through photo manipulation one can let the clients see what a property could look like, bringing its potential to life.
Do a podcast, but if you do you have to remain consistent in doing it.

Geotexting for sharing information about your listings. You can send a location point, where someone can click and see photos and videos.

There were many more, and also many general tips for Real Estate Agents.

Of course, there was much more to this event than what we mentioned above, and to really get the benefits Jenniffer recommends to all Real Estate Agents to attend this event too.

Carlos Blanco at 10x Conference in Miami

We are also proud of Carlos Blanco, who is also an agent of Best Buy Realty and travelled to Miami to attend Grant Cardone’s 10X Growth Conference. This was an entrepreneur conference That took place from February 1st to February 3rd 2019. The conference was for everyone: salesperson, a top CEO, a marketer, a real estate agent, or just a person looking to better his/her life.

Carlos was also very excited to go and attend this event, and when he had returned he enthusiastically shared his experience with us. He met many like-minded people who shared his enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Carlos brought back lots of notes, filled with information on how to increase what’s important to you. Be it money, health, friends, family, or anything that you consider important.

There were multiple speakers, including of course Grant Cardone himself, John Maxwell, and Ryan Deiss, everyone sharing their advice from their experience and their unique perspectives.
Some gems included:

• • Money follows attention, it is impossible to overspend in advertising/marketing. But take affordable steps.
  • Live an “intentional life” – Goal Focused
  • Be in a growth environment. Be with people who know more than you so you can learn from them.
  • And much more!
